Brooklyn Tavern Run
Thought some of you might enjoy our little trip last weekend.
Matt (My Partner on the One Lap in 03 in this car) went with me to the historic (?) Brooklyn Tavern in Brooklyn Wa (where else).
Just to give some back ground on this place it is A. litterally in the middle of nowhere in loggin country Wa. & B. there are Incredible driving roads in the area as well as thousands of miles of gravel roads, & C. some really nice people out there.
the Excuse was that i needed to complete a set of the Plastic pint glasses that they have there, and i needed a new hat . And i wanted to see what would fall off the car before the run down to San Diego in June for the Parade.
the gravel road was the famous (to the rally community) Brooklyn taven Special stage - 7 miles of gravel (100 or so corners) that is generally done in just over 7 minutes in the top rally cars locally. Needless to say we took a bit longer to traverse the stage.
Enjoy...
on the SS
The forest section - teams routienly get up to 100+ here
we got there a little early they opened right on time at noon thank god.
the Bar (and the owner throwing some one out in the picture
