hmm, loosing ~300lbs is a good one! Also, race seats/belts/rollbar was a good one too. Drilling the airbox was so fun because it was free, and sounds cool.

The cams were approx. $900 but when the PO had them installed he had other work done at the same time with the motor out. He also had the rocker arms replaced which was a good idea. Total labor and parts at the shop $3,500. I would guess the cam and rockers install was about $2,000 of this including the rockers?

My interior color swap and refurb, because the old tan was so tired and carpet so grungy. Now it feels like driving a new car, instead of used. What do you see most of the time while driving? The interior

"I bought my car modded up but if I were to pick in order.

1. Cup cams
2. Suspension and wheels
3. LWF
4. Fabspeed

What do you mean by "Cup Cams"? The 964 Cup cams have the same profile as the standard C2/C4 cam.

I knew I would get caught on this. Wrong name...993 super sport #296 from Web Cams...to be exactly correct. Sorry for the confusion

Depends on what you do with it...

Mines a DD so I gotta say suspension - H&R greens (reds too much for rough roads) with HD's, front strut brace, and proper alignment - choose your tire wear... Big wheels are nice too.

Net result - smooth, low and rock solid body feel. Mine now feels better than the 993 RUF BTR I had.

My favorite (and only)mod is H&R red turbo springs and Bilsteins. Even with the 16" D90s it is a huge improvement. Can't wait to get 17's on it.

The simple ones are the best. In order:

On 964
1. Cup I wheels from D90s
2. Lowered suspension
3. G-pipe
4. Teardrops

On 965
1. Lowering suspension
2. Cat bypass

It was a different car with each mod added. Ain't it fun...

In order of preference, the mods I have done:
1. H+R/Bilstein suspension
2. Big Reds
3. Sticky tyres (Toyo R888s)
4. RS flywheel/clutch
5. Strut brace
6. 993RS steering wheel
7. Cup pipe (keep having to take this off for track days)

Car already had teardrops and 17" Cup 1s when I got it.

In order.

1)refurbing all 4 calipers( not strictly speaking a mod but feels like it as it was such a big improvement)
2)cup pipe I just fitted
3)Custom map improved responce and solved stalling issues with LWF

worst.
1) LWF

Cool thread!

My favorites I have done (in addition to what came with my car):

New H&R suspension - feels like new car, only much better than new I imagine
FVD steering wheel
My own throttle pedal mod
CG Lock autocross lap belt clamp
cross drilled rotors
front plate delete

Toss up between loosing 250#s and installing a 993TT engine and 6-speed LSD gearbox...hard to tell which is better.
