Intro - '91 Supercharged Strosek C2
After lurking for far too long I wanted to start getting involved in some threads. Which of course means an intro post to avoid backlash
I am now a happy owner of a 91 Strosek C2. Lots and lots of mods, all done prior to my ownership. I am the third owner, the last owner was a rennlister as well. I am prepping for an active DE season and learning lots about the fun of rear engined cars (this is my first porsche).
Car is supercharged (German Auto) has an intercooler. Has a mix of H&R and Bilstein suspension upgrades (rides a bit low to put it mildly). So far pretty pleased with how things have gone, car is an absolute blast to drive on the road, can't wait to experience the track.
My last track car was a Honda S2000, no slouch on a nice tight track but boy is there a steep learning curve switching from a 50/50 underpowered car to this.
Girlfriend has already nicknamed the car the 'Rhino' since it is alarmingly white (grand prix).
So looking to hopefully contribute when I can and obviously learn a ton as I already have by lurking.

Welcome and congratulations on the new car. It looks very nice and I am sure you will enjoy it on the track where you can stretch its legs. I will look for you at upcoming DE events. Best of luck, Jerry

dboyle:
Wow your Strosek looks identical to mine except for the rear wing. I always thought this version of the Strosek was unique in that it did not have the radical sloped nose and tiny lights of most other Stroseks.
Looks great in white.
Mine has the suspension mods but not the supercharger.

Awesome first post...and with PICS!!!!!!!!!!!! I really like the look of your car, tasteful, very smooth and curvaceous and minus the ugly rubber bits (especially on the bumper).
Thanks and welcome!

I thought I didn't like Strosek cars... you guys have converted me. Turns out I guess I just don't like those little mole eyes
