Default Clutch bleeding

I bled the clutch this afternoon after doing the brakes. I was amazed the amount of gunk that came out of it, is that a symptom of worse problems to come? Curious.

Cheers

Not necessarily - the fluid absorbs water and gets murky and gross over time - just bleed till you get nice clean fluid and call it a day.

Default I know that feeling...

Wouldn't sweat it till (if!) symptoms present themselves in clutch feel.
Even then, failure is a 'soft' one (ie, sloooow, progressive).
I finally changed mine out last week (see pics of failed slave, there) after an annoying few months of same old soft pedal symptoms.
Don't sweat it.

I've had the clutch fluid appear black and gross even after 1 month of use when all components were traded out! I don't think I've ever done a clutch bleed and have the fluid not come out black and dirty! There's something to be said, though, for a clutch that's got new hydraulics - so smooth!!!!
