13 years in a 964 is pretty respectable. Few of us have owned or will own ours that long. I have to say if I were in the position to get a 997 GT3 I might be in your shoes too.
Congratulations and please post some sound clips of that new beast, I never get tired of hear those cars scream.

Not so much the end of an era, as the start of a new one.

I for one think you have done the right thing. I am not averse to keeping vehicles for a decent length of time (about 8 years has so far been my longest) but there simply comes a day when it's "been there, done that". When that day dawns, it's time to move on.

Enjoy your GT3, before the government bans them!

McJohn

PS Am I right in thinking there has been a colour change to your GT3 calipers.

JB -- I know its really too late to ask but I am surprised you didn't keep the 964 in addition to the GT3.

Truly happy for you to begin your new era of GT3ness but can't help but feel a tinge of sadness to know I won't be seeing any new pictures of that, always immaculate, red C2.

See what happens when you don't keep up with happenings in Rennlist-land, one of your favorite 964 owners ups and sells his red beauty!

Seriously, hope all is well John, and you enjoy the new motor(s).
