Default Borrow engine stand adapter?

Would anyone please let me borrow an engine stand adapter? It seems like a silly thing for lots of us to spend two or three hundred dollars on. Of course I would pay costs. I think I might be getting brave enough to try a rebuild. Want to get the engine on a stand and perform leakdown first. In addition to becoming a member here, I have bought Bruce Anderson's book and two of Wayne Dempsey's. The books look great, very involved, but I think it will be a great project. Thanks in advance.

Well, I leant mine to someone and he finally decided to buy it. The only reason I sold it was my wife said that this should be the last engine, Porsche or otherwise, that I rebuild. Unless you are in the same boat I'd just buy one.

I have the Porsche yoke and trunion (rotation bearing) mounted on a home-built stand, and the flywheel lock. It has been through two engine overhauls, and two transmission overhauls. I have a catch tray to put under it to catch the oil (OK, it is the top piece from an old front-load clothes dryer).

Send me a PM with offer if interested. I agree it is dumb to keep too many expensive tools that get used so seldom. My engine is fine, and the stand is in the way.
