I guess the price tag on that RSA killed this conversation. ($57900 cdn)

I figure my 89 C4 is worth 24k-28k cdn right now... $57900 cdn would build me alot of car...

KirkF,

An RS is something out of the ordinary. It would cost far more than the price you quoted to turn a std 964 into an RS. The parts are so expensive.

Just price the alu hood... it will bring tears to your eyes!! This is just the way things are...

Hey Bret, besides being into the Ford LTD (very cool), are you also a Porsche 964er? Or which model? I could put you into the master Canuck list above....

Well I just bought a 92 US Carrera Cup car, expensive, you bet, they built 45 of them so probaly not dropping in value anytime soon. I also have built a replica of a 73 RSR, probably in some ways a better car than the original. Would I rather have one of the originals, of course but at 500-600K a copy I'm a little short on cash. The point is you can always build a recreation much cheaper that the real thing bit it will be only that a recreation not the real thing.
