I agree Jaime. If it comes down to picking one to drive somewhere it seems I usually take the 964. The Cab feel like your taking out a fighter jet and the TT feels like a B2 bomber! Of course there is nothing wrong with a B2 when you want the real firepower

Looks like you will need to clear some space in the garage to get all 3 in there! What day are you getting it? I am going to the Rolex 24 on saturday but could help you out getting it sunday if needed.
I drove the TT to Daytona yesterday. Would have been alot more fun if the cops wernt sitting on I-4 every few miles with radar. Its amazing the power that thing has
Thanks Jim. Father-in-law will take me Saturday to pick it up.

Make sure you take lots of photos... that has to be sweet.

Nope... 964 not going anywhere (996TT would go first if I have to let go of any of the cars... )

I should be able to finally finish the little things that keep piling up with the car when you use them often. I am going to redo the wheels... I fixed all the scratches and chips but I use spray paint instead of using the compressor and the detail air gun... not the quality or shine I was after. But at least that is just sanding and reshooting... I also want to fix the clutch roll pin to see if that sorts out some of the stiffness on the clutch (it was butter smooth when it was changed not so anymore) if not I will get the updated parts and do it again. I know that the top will need to be changed in a few (I have the top (993 styled), the inner cloth and the elastic straps) just waiting for when this one decideds to go... Dist belt that I hope to do this weekend... and would like to repaint the side flairs (rock chips).

Thank you! Feel free to send me a few pointers on what are must-do-first items. You must have gone thru a lot of work to get the car just right. I would love to benefit from it and avoid as many mistakes as possible, if you can.

I need to do an intro on the 911 forum when the car is home

The thing I love most about this post is that it's all about making those dreams come true!
Got me thinking about my second Porsche...964 RS Cup

Congrats Jaime. It looks really clean. I like the color! You're a lucky guy.

Nice car Jaime. Makes me wish I still had my 79. Get ready for that vague steering feel when you go around bumpy corners. Just point and shoot. Tons of fun.

You will find the SC much more tossable into corners.

I bet the first thing you do is replace the headlights. I know I did.

Congrats,
Colin

WOW! You are about 100 miles away from the car, buying it sight un-seen with no PPI and you are already buying parts for it! STRONG! REALLY STRONG!

Per our PM exchange, it appears to be a great car owned by a staight up guy. Again, good luck to you.

Replace STRONG with STUPID and you might be closer to reality

Worst case scenario I can use those in my 964 or the next car...

Seriously, everything is looking good. Next posts/threads will be in the 911 forum.
