- Miscellaneous - spark plugs, seals, fuel lines throughout ownership of vehicle
- Fuel pump and fuel accumulator and spark plug wires
- Paint bubbling repair left upper cowl (about size of quarter) 7/26/04 from work windshield seal that leaked (windshield seal obviously replaced as well)

- The Rev Limiter Relay, A/C and the cruise control are the only components on the vehicle that do not function. The A/C has all parts installed but the system will not hold a vacuum. The end of the cable connector for the cruise control is broken - the entire assembly needs replacement. The Rev Limiter Relay is not working correctly and needs to be replaced.

And here are the photos:

Rear wheels are one year old... front were refinished at the same time... very nice looking:

Now for the bad part... paint retouches were not done, how should I put this, correctly... not concourse by any means.

Here are the photos:

They should have eliminated the sticker.... instead it was painted around it... This was one of the previous owners that the person I just got the car from...

Very nice, looks like a very nice beasty. How do you like the seats? Do they fit well/do you like the way they sit in the car? Like the panel treatment on the doors...nice momo...
Congrats!

Seat are from a Boxster... comfortable but you tend to sit higher than normal. My plans are to swap those for some Recaros Sport (I have had one, drivers side, in the garage for several years waiting for a car like this...will need to buy the passenger side).

I also have RS Americas door panels and H4 headlight arriving Wednesday...

Looking to make it into an RSR 3.0 replica... it will take years... but little by little...

Thank you!

My first thought was... man, this is too nice looking for what I want to do with it... those flaws in the paint will actually help me do the changes I want without feeling too bad...

I had a recaro seat in my 81SC...Im six four, so it lasted about two weeks, too many head-head liner collisions, even with belt on....so out it went....does this mean you'll be getting rid of existing door panels? Currently my interior is white ..but thinking of going to blue-black interior down the road (mine is a dark blue /white combo) good luck with the conversion....are you going to keep a photo journal of same? Looking forward to seeing pics as work progresses...

That car was for sale on Pelican for a while, right? I remember the door panels in particular. It's a very pretty car...great color.

Before you ditch those door panels, could you post what company made them (if you are able to tell from the panel or if you have the paperwork)? I'd love to buy a set of those in black, and cannot fin any other pictures of those except that want ad with this (your) car!
