Really,

I have seen yellow and red but never blue. Any info on the blue belts?

are they real leather cause in some pictures, it sure looks like vinyl. Why are all "D" rings silver......

Why did you get breykrause brakets? The sliders for 996 work fine in a 964 and the side mounts in the auction are adjustable.

They might be cheap but holy cow, 300$ of shipping to Canada.......

As much as I like the look I will stick to known entities for my cars as they are used on the track. I believe GT3 seats are FIA approved..

Be nice if someone with the real deal could get their hands on the fakes and do a real engineering comparison. Would not take that long.

Hahahaha as long as they never dump their T-bills.... but if they did, we wouldn't have any money to buy their carbon fiber fake dog poo

p.s. I like the seats, though I agree it would be cool if someone bought one or two, put them next to the real deal, and then did a destructive test or two.

I bet the arguement could be made that stuffy old Porsche owners will continue to get fleeced by the likes of Recaro and others as long as they only focus within the box. I could see being worried about the seats if your doing 150+ all the time, but I would be willing to bet those seats are stronger than what you would find in most US cars pre 90s.

If anyone has these seats in the Seattle area I will buy you lunch and some beers for the opportunity to get a look and feel. No I am not going to try and do a damage test. Just want to see and feel.

Unless the seats delaminate because the polyester resin that they used can't handle the repeated high temperature changes of the passenger compartment (i.e. most resins) or because of voids in the resin from the hand layup (i.e. every aftermarket carbon & glass fiber body panel) or because the fiber ply direction was laid down based on ease of placement and not for strength (i.e. every aftermarket fiber supplier) and so on and so on. Within the past year or so there was an article in a composite manufacturing magazine documenting how carbon fiber seats are made and why things are done the way they are done and the engineering problems encountered. I will try to find a copy of the article, most are available online.

When I put a part number list together last October for the tiki gb I noticed that the 964 and 993 require different belts.

964-803-033-04-H04 $208.40USD (FL) Riviera Blue

ROW uses the same belts up front but USA/CAN have different left/right maybe something to do with a child seat?

993-803-034-01-V02 $472.10USD (FR) USA/CAN - Speed Yellow

993-803-021-00-N13 $293.71USD (rear) USA/CAN - Guards Red
993-803-021-00-V02 $293.71USD (rear) USA/CAN - Speed Yellow
