Rennline Alum Floor Mat ???
Ok... I have been thinking about them for sometime now. And the recent thread from Geoffrey was the push I needed to order them. But before I do so...
I wanted to get rid of the foam that is under the carpet... all the rubber cover is breaking as well so just want to get rid of all that... I think it would also help avoid moisture being caught there...
From this photo from the Rennline site, it looks like I will have to glue the center and side carpets either to the alum board or push it down and glue it to the sides…
Has anyone on the forum installed these on a daily driver? If so, photos? What did you do with the carpet on the sides?
There is still the issue with the rear floor... need to see if there is a solution for that or if I will have to test my skills at cutting an aluminum board for the back.

Jamie, I have been thinking the same thing. My plan was to have my RS carpets (no padding left) just go down around the sides. In essence, just placing this in as if it's a floor mat. I am interested in anyone else's experiences as well.
I posted a while back about this, but never found a solution I really liked.

I used them on my 993. Just stripped out everything and used the big velcro pieces that come with the Rennline Track Mats, with the side and tunnel carpeting under the sides of the mats.

Thank you all. I just placed the order. Will post photos during the install and mod of the carpet.
Will follow what you did Bob.
Will think of something for the back...
EDIT- had to send them an email as I could not find the passenger board listed... as soon as I get a response I will place the order.

Thank you. Maybe someone reading the thread will be interested on those.
