I’m bumping this one back up as I realized mine was broken in multiple areas. I already have the new one in hand ($125 now!) but I’m not sure how to remove the lower section. There seems to be interference with another black trim piece that is preventing it from popping off the rod. Anyone have a trick to removing the old and installing the new?

Never mind, I realized after looking at if for a minute that the wing needs to come off. Once the wing was off I had easy access to remove it. I decided to do some detailing while I was at it.

You can remove and install with out disconnecting the spoiler.

After getting it all apart I realized the same, the spoiler just can’t be set in its highest position. Doesn’t matter though, I used the opportunity to get the area cleaned up. I also lubricated the gearing while I had everything apart.

Any official Porsche dealer is reasonably priced (negligable difference, if any, or even cheaper!). Paid £75 for mine from OPC in UK. Also recieved 10% discount as Porsche Club member.

15 minute fix, as said, raise spoiler 3/4 up, pull off broken parts (bottom easy, top might need some leveraging out), new one snaps in fully on top rail and same for bottom.
