Are there any racers here?

I remember when I started racing my C2 in 1998, there weren't too many of us around, now it's good to see that there's quite a few. Makes it easier to share parts at the track
FWIW, I have a nice size collection of 964 Cups in various scales, but there's still so many more left to collect.

Got them from the Racing forum also Larry.
Maybe I should have posted last Thursday's acquisition here too. The poor quality pictures were taken by me, the clean-up and posting is thanks to Dr. J.

Bob, Thanks for the pictures. The car looks fantastic! Who did the cage? Looks to be all sorted out. Are you planning to race it? If so, what PCA group will it be in? GTC1?

Or D? ... putting the carpeting back in? Sort of curious.

Kind of strange when you consider how many here do work on their cars, and seem to be interested in performance mods and driving. Even more so when you consider that it was the first time that PCA has been allowed to run at Daytona, and it would seem like 964 crowd should be interested in seeing how their own does.

I do have all of the original interior, side glass/lifts (car has acrylic and leather straps now), etc. parts that the car had in order to be imported. They have never been back in the car and I am not inclined to do so now.
I'll sort it out next year.

Have fun! I'd love to see it "in person" sometime. Maybe next year at some event.
I'm wondering if I may have seen your car at Sebring a couple of years ago. It was a DE in maybe December or January (wintertime anyway) ... and there were two guys from NJ ... both with 964 cups. They had been hauled down by a NJ shop called Anthracite or something like that as I recall.
Anyway, nice car!

Larry - thanks for posting them here on "our" forum. I always post my videos here, not on the Race forum... this forum is like family which makes it more fun to share

Larry, can we make that a 2 for 1 on the HP upgrade. I am interested to see where the X51 cars end up next year. For those of you 964 Rennlisters, Larry got more out of his car than anyone that I raced against at Daytona. I own a RS America garage queen and had a RSA track car. He got 99.9% out of his car.
