I have a guards red car with these same codes. G1 LG. Assuming the car has the beige seats and carpet (aka Camel, Cashmere Beige etc etc) it is still original. the "Black" refers to the trim...door trim, rails, etc.

I agree they had different color combos and accents. The black refers to the accents like dash/ knee pad steering wheel etc. You could have custom ordered those accents in matching leather.

Here is a color swatch from then that shows some of the color combos used.

I have to agree with Bull. I have CofA's from 2001 and again in 2009 and the 2001 CofA's were superior in quality more accurate and came with a notarized seal. I have seen too many forgeries of the newer style.
