I always LOVED horizon blue, but i hate the grey interior. But hey it doesnt matter what we think what do YOU think??? Your the one who has to live with it after you buy it. Hope it all works out for you.

That colour looks classy to me. I'm still not sure about Guards Red ... would have preferred something more like the one in your photo, or Midnight Blue.

Of course - despite the fact that we all say we like it - if you do buy and and try to sell it in the future, everyone will say : Hmmm, but it's not a popular colour.....

The longer I live with my black on black, the more I appreciate the "other" colours. That's a great combo on that car. But then, I've always liked white 911s, as well as the jellybean colours from the earlier cars. At least every other car you see won't look like yours!

I think the colour is similar to mine, its lovely i wouldnt hesitate unless its not looked after of course, but it seems like its been well cherished.
Its good to be different sometimes :-)

I'm in too. Love the color combo. Horizon Blue looks great in person and pics sometimes give you a skewed look. Gotta see it in person. Relatively rare too.

The grey interior is rare as well and probably will look much better in person.

Thumbs down

I think it sucks. If you are going to buy a classic porsche at least get it in black or grey.

If you drive a light blue girly colour like that, you would really have to asess your sexual preference before you hop in the drivers seat.

I dont know, maybe it would look good with a tartan sports jacket....

just my opinion

p.s Davek, your making me sick with that avatar!!, I really hope its not a relation.

Hey Icy,

Welcome to Rennlist! Thanks for your opinion in your first post.

What color is your 911?

How do you like my cars??

I actually own an Nissan Skyline R34 GTR with a few modifications, but I am considering either a C2 or C4 as another car. I really like the emotion that goes along with owning a porsche. The gunmetal grey is definately the colour of choice.

Cheers Jay .. sweet ride

Icy,

You'll definitely get some emotion out of Porsche owners with a first post like yours above! Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Good luck with your search for a C2 or C4. The Rennlist 964 board is a good resource for info.

Back on topic: Hopefully someone can answer spence's question about adjustable suspension.

No problem , Jay.

I just like to say what I feel.

I wouldn't of said anything about Davek's avitar if she had been lightly touched by the ugly stick, but she had been fully beaten with it... With dramatic results!!

Spence,

I'd still advise to looking at the Horizon blue car. You may like it in person.

Thank you for your compliment. My 964 is Baltic Blue. It's more of a steel blue than a gray. It's got a hint of purple and red in it as well in the right light (I can just see Icy cringing when I'm talkin' 'bout blue, purple and red on a 911... ).

Best,

Jay

Well, excedpt for Icy's opinion, i was rather encouraged by all the positive Horizon Blue comments. My '93 is that color -- it wasn't my first choice -- but it does have a caramel or camel-colored interior, which i've grown more fond of over the past two years. I bought the car and not the color but have come to appreciate that I don't see myself coming down the road all the time. Also Horizon Blue seems popular at Porsche gatherings simply because it is rare. And, fully believing i have nothing to be ashamed of in the masculinity department, that "girly" color surely does attract a lot of attention from the women folk. My wife thinks the car is the color of Elizabeth Taylor's eyes (and hers!).
