OK, I understand. Would have been nice, even if its slow... and I kind of figured it was to be implemented with a wide-band O2 sensor for decent readings. It had me wondering on which side I'd install my Innovative LM-1 VW wide-band sensor if I decided to go that route.
I know OBD2 ECUs are slow to cough up real time values, so I didn't expect this system to be much quicker. In fact, when I use your software to display "Input Values", the display locks up and the board LED stays constantly lit up, until I turn the motor off - then the values populate. Too bad emissions specs don't mandate faster real-time response.
Thanks for your response, all the same!!

Hello:
I cannot use the Andy Interface and Dough software (scantool ver 3.0 and 4.0) to swicht off the airbag lamp... I connected the interface to the serial port of a Laptop (WIn XP) and to the round plug of the car (hole 7 and 8 for K and L) and 10 and 13 for ground and 12v. Then the program says... connecting and nothing else occurs. Only the red light of the interface blinks. I have some idea of "cutting" the wire of the leds of the interface is necesary to overcome this problem. Is true?. In the inteface there is a switch (two positions), is it necesary to change the default to the alternative?.
Thanks for your advice

cut a leg on the inside most of the 2 LED's. move the jumper just behind the 9 pin plug end (LK1) to the 2 outside pins. Plug in the laptop to power cord.

"I know OBD2 ECUs are slow to cough up real time values,"
Not true. It all depends on the scanner being used, e.g. the software written.
My OBDII scanners (3) all read live data fairly quickly in real time as does my
PST2 from Porsche.

I followed your advices and the Interface and Scantool run OK.... Thanks.
My airbag lamp continues "on". I can reset it, buy it quickly returns swich.on. The systems says "error 30, unknow".

Adaptation feedback
Here's some feedback on running the Adaptation feature on my 91 C2 (CO2). After running the adaptation I was getting pinging for about 1 sec after starting. The value was 130 (32h). After resetting the DME to the default the pinging is gone. I should note that I live at 7,000 ft altitude.
I think I'll leave the Adaptation at the default.
Let me take the opportunity to add to the many that are very thankful for this software and making it available!
