Default Part number...

Can anyone help me out with the part number for the rubber pipe that joins the top of the rear fan shroud to the tube for the blower motor please.

Cheers,

Mark 90C2.

I read that as the rubber part between the shroud and the part Marc arrowed - the bit which seems to tear. I just replaced mine - it's 964.106.403.02 - Air Duct, priced at £22.82 + VAT less 10% if you are a PCGB member.

Regards

Rob,

It's the ballast resistor for the rear blower fan. It's important to be mounted inside the plenum to keep it cool. It's been known to be the cause of engine compartment fires if not cooled sufficiently.

I was not sure if it was that rubber bit or not either.

I wrapped a couple of zip ties around the whole tube to ensure it does not move or fall out as it gets frighteningly hot (my thymb has the burn mark to prove it).

That reminds me, mine has been split for ages. I'd forgotten all about it, since it doesn't really seem to make much difference.

Thanks guys. Dave you were spot on, it's the rubber bit.
I also need one of the Allen head bolts that I guess are N 010 367 4.

Thanks again,

Mark.
