True - although I would rather not spend £2.5K, I'm not actually unhappy with the bill. I know that the clutch is similar cost wherever you go, and I know how much the wheels were.

In the last 5 years, there have only been 2 bills which were less than I expected - the very first service (carried out by Northway) and last years service (carried out by JZ). All the other bills (and there were a lot, because my car spent a lot of the first few years at the garage) were more than I expected. Even this one from JZ is pretty much exactly what I expected - so I am fairly happy with it.

every bill i have had has been more than i wanted/expected !!!!!

christer ........... you honestly think i was suggesting to use 9m over any other specialist ??
i was trying to be helpfull to people by posting the link for future use .

would you suggest i drive 200 miles to get my car serviced at jz ??

Definitely not.

Although I drive mine to 9M every so often...but thats another reasoning entirely...ha ha

i wish i could drive mine to 9m , unfortunately its broken .

the starter motor went funny again the last time i was home , so its stuck in the garage

funny thing is , since i booked in with 9m , its been perfect . then the time i need to deliver it to them , it stops !!!

will have another go with a hammer and block of wood maybe tommorow .
