I love my FE mount. It's easily accessable just in case!
A little bit of bling doesn't hurt either. It cracks me up to think that most people peer in and ask, "You have NITROUS in there?"
It's a SafeCraft fire extinguisher on a Brey-Krause mount. I can't move the seat forward but it's where I like it anyway...
EDIT - By the way... I swapped the FE ends so that the handle it on the other side. I did this after ripping a pair of slacks when getting out. Other than the seat not being able to be moved... There are no other issues. It doesn't get in the way of anything.

On a side note, I don't think Boubi's setup would be acceptable for a PCA sanctioned DE, if that matters to you. The rules stipulate the fire extinguisher must be installed with a metal bracket secured to metal.

Also, for these type glovebox', the material is only plastic, I think (could be wrong), so I might suggest bigger washers on the inside just to be safe.

But when I installed it, that were the only washers I had. That was three years ago, and the F.E is still in the same place !!!
So, in my opinion, it is strong enough
