Do you remember the Top Gear episode where they had the 3 cars on the beach?

Every time I drive mine on Daytona beach I want to re enact the first NASCAR races! Problem is if you do over 10 mph they slap you with a ticket

If you drive your car in the real world , all sorts of grit is getting kicked up as you drive along .
Streets / roads / aves / lanes / highways / freeways are dirtydirtydirty .

I should have pics on Sunday
Obviously I am not saying I am going to make a habit of it, but I treat the 964 like any other car I own. It gets superb mechanical care with no expense spared (trust me, this is true), it gets warmed up properly before it is driven enthusiastically and of course after a beach trip I spend a lot of time pressure washing all the sand off every centimetre of the car both top and bottom.
Aaaaanyway, I know there will always be people who do not even drive their car when it rains so I know this is a pointless exercise Hopefully all will be able to enjoy the shots I took (if any came out) regardless of whether you want to report me to the Royal Society for the Protection of 964's (RSP9)
(p.s. My paintwork is fairly bright but it is far from perfect. A full respray and bodywork restoration will probably be necessary within 5 years. Not that the car doesn't look good, but I figure if I want something done then I will always do it 100%.....to the detriment of my Porsche Fund's balance...

Fantastic fun, reminds me of the Brands Porsche meeting, year before last. We were the last to leave, a huge wet grass field, no cars, well, it would have been rude not to.
Cheers.
Cheers.
