Now, I'm still getting used to the throttle blip and all, I'm by no means an expert, but I've found that it is indeed entirely possible. But, if you must get a pedal, the ones with the wings at the bottom aren't going to buy you much because the pedals are hinged at the bottom (think physics). Find a set that puts the top of the gas closer to the brake pedal. I've found that "heel/toe" in the Porsche is more accurately described as left/right side of your foot. I've found that using the left part of my foot to brake hard, puts the right side of my foot right on top of the gas. So I just roll my foot a little to the right and I get my blip. Anyways, thats my 0.02. I'm sure there are thousands of ways to heel/toe, but thats what helped me learn.

I use the ball of my foot on the brake and the right side of my foot to bring the revs up. Works great for me, but could just be because I'm used to the bottom hinged pedals- been driving 911s for years. I find the clutch/brake/gearbox in the 964 to be a joy to use- very refreshing to drive after driving my everday car (stick BMW)- perfect weight and feedback in all three units, and I guess it must be the dual mass flywheel, but I'm butter smooth on upshifts and downshift, which isn't always the case in my 540
