I'm sure this topic has been covered, but I did't find what I was looking for. I have A 89 C4 55,000 miles I just purchased the "lowering collars" that have been dicussed here. While everything is apart I figured the stock shocks and struts need to be replaced. What is the stock shock/strut for an 89 C4 ? I don't want to upgrade to a harsh ride, and some shocks say you have to cut something and then install there unit? I'm not a big fan of cutting things. Did these come with Boge's? and if so where is a cheap sorce? Could someone shoot me a little info. on this? please? ThanksTom and I know ..i'll post pictures soon.

I ended up ordering Bilsteins from Performance Products, I called them, the stock Boge's they list ..NO MORE. all gone . as far as i can tell Bilsteins are the only option left for an 89. !?
