Default Show me your special colors

I've never seen many of the special colors for 964's. I'm particularly interested in seeing cars in Amazon Green Metallic, Violet Blue Metallic, Lagoon Green Metallic, Amethyst Metallic, Tahoe Blue Metallic, and Coral Metallic. Please post a pic if you have a car in one of these colors, or one of the other special colors if it's at least somewhat rare. Thanks!

Can't post any pics........but from 92-94 when I worked at the dealer I sold cars in "Amazon Green"......."Violet Metallic" and Coral.

All three were really nice.

Here's mine. It's a "Match to sample" colour, code L999 where the person who ordered it brought a tie or something into the showroom & asked them to match that!! As you can see, it's a deep red metallic. Very likely to be the only one in this colour!!

This is a bit unfair since my car has been repainted in an MG colour - Trophy Yellow. To my knowledge there is only one other 911 in the world painted this colour - and it's a 3.2 cab - and, as far as I know it's in Spain. This pic dates from September last year and the car is currently undergoing a windows out repaint (in the same colour) so I'm looking forward to completion next month.

Regards

Dave

Default Velvet Red

I have no idea if this colour is unusual......but i believe i have the only Velvet Red in New Zealand.
Most 964's here tend to be Guards Red or Silver.

Here's mine it's called Glacier White. I remember seeing this color listed as a color available from the factory for only one year. Seems to me that it was sometime in the 80's. It's a cool color that has a very slight blue-gray tinge during the day and more of a blue cast at night.

The Turtle is Amazon Green. I was amazed at the color after a repaint due to the new body work. The old paint was pretty weathered and worn. The new paint looks blue in low light but is green in bright light.

Thanks for all the responses guys, especially to Chris M. I have to say I have never liked yellow cars but that Speed Yellow turbo made me stare for a while.

Andy Roe - that L999 burgundy metallic is beautiful, especially with the clear lights in the bumper.

Keep 'em coming. Anyone with a pic of Violet Blue?

A more recent pic of my car, which is Tahoe Blue. It is the one pictured above, but since then it has lost the spoiler and reverted to the original wheels. This picture also gives a better idea of the colour.

A couple of mine, also in Tahoe blue. Seems to be a difficult colour for cameras to catch, and best suited to bright days. There is also Dad's little helper in one of the pictures who helped polish "Bluey"!
