After spending since November of last year looking for a coupe replacement for my 90 C4 Cab I have come across an 1980 911SC that I really like - so I bought it.
I'll miss the wonderful 964s but I am loving this new car since I picked it up yesterday.

I'll always be reading the 964 forum, they are very much in my heart. Someday I hope to add another 964 Cab to the garage as a daily driver. The SC is going to be for autox and the track.

Congrats! Nothing to regret or apologize for... that is one beautiful car. Please do post some more photos of that beauty. And some comments on how it drives and compares to your old 90 C4 Cab.

I will get more pics of it today, that one is the only one I had taken (actually my son took it) when I ws looking to purchase the car. I need to wash it and take pics ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Driving impressions:
Feels light, of course it is 700 lbs. lighter then my C4 cab. Does not feel stiffer then my cab but I had a roll bar in there that made a big difference.
Seems to pull real strong the middle of the rev range vs. the C4 pulling in the upper half. 915 is not bad at all, you don't speed shift but there is no trouble finding the right gears. Accelration is strong because the power to weight ratio is about the same as a C4 cab, C2 coupes would be a higher ratio of power.
The only C2 I drove that felt this raw and tossible was a C2 that had been lightened significantly, RS interior, no AC, heater bypass, no cats, muffler bypass, RS washer fluid bottle, small battery, Sparco seats, no airbags, Sparco steering wheel, light weight flywheel, light weight pulleys and I'm sure more. I think is down around 2700 lbs.
This car is just plain fun.
