Resurecting ancient history? I have decided to remove mine as I'm on a quest to lose that last 300 lbs (at 2500 lbs I'm still too heavy). If you want mine as templates or to use as is, send me a PM. You pay shipping and they are yours.

Mine are black. Mine are also "re-covered" and the color can be changed. Mine came with holes from door speakers that no longer existed. So, I boought some fake leather vinyl material ($10) and put it over what was there to improve the look. You could either use mine as templates or simply recover in you favorite color.

resurrecting because my map pocket covers are working loose and I think I may go with self-made RS panels.

Hi

I looking to RS my door panels on the C4.

I want to do myself to save some money and get that sense of acheivement. I don't have a problem doing the actual panels (few years with big sewing machines when I was a lad) but are the door pulls and openers standard fit to the actual metal work of the door or do you have to drill and tap new holes?

that's what I'd like to produce, once I have a good copy to start with. I may take my door panel off, and mark holes as optional on the tracing, once I'm done.

Buy the RS or RS plus (with a small pocket) panels from appbiz.com. you'll probably end up cheaper than making them yourself and it's much easier! Their panels fits very good han have pre-cut holes for speakers etc if you want. The red pull strap looked a bit cheap compared to stock but otherwise, good quality compared to the cost.
