Default Best Catbypass?

I am looking to buy a cat bypass pipe for my 1989 C4. I was just wondering what everyone would say is the best cat bypass for our cars. I know fabspeed is a pretty good company, but I have never dealt with them before. I am just looking for some fellow 964 owners that have more wisdom than me in this area.

Cool

I went with the Fabspeed unit. Less weight and it looks very nice... almost ended up putting on a shelve in the office instead of in the car, lol.

WHAT!?? I am sorry, I can hear you. Can you speak louder?!!

Seriously, you will have to ask Jimq on that. My car never had the secondary muffler so it had a nice sound to it. When I installed the cat-bypass it changed the sound to a bit louder and deeper sound. I have no need for a radio (just listen to the engine sound) and cel phone conversations are not that great so I tend to be safer on the road Wife tells me that she can hear me as I enter the subdivision (a mile away).

Jimq! What do you think??

ooooh looks nice. Did you get a new O2 sensor or were you able to use the old one and just move it over to the bypass?

I have the fabspeed as well. intact primary and secondary muffler (as intact as a 100,000 mile 15+ year old muffler can be).

I didn't notice any sound change

Well, I guess fabspeed is the way to go. I will probally be ordering the bypass from them. Thanks for all the replies, and the pictures are amazing, very helpful.

I have the secondary bypass and was worried the cat bypass even though it is muffled (Fabspeed)would make it a bit loud. I have gotten used to it now with the secondary gone and like it...I was also concidering one of the new 100 cell cats by Fabspeed.
