Default Flared fenders 25000 dollars????

This has bothered the #&$% out of me for a long time.... can someone tell me why adding fender flares in the back makes this car worth 25000 more than a regular 964???? And if so why the heck would anyone take that over a turbo for the same price???

Sorry I was looking at your avatar again. What were you saying?

Kirk
p.s. I think its because there was a relatively low production volume.

"this car may be the best one left in the world!"

That's gotta be worth something. Dunno how high the demand, but definitely short supply.

The car's only worth what someone's willing to pay. I don't see any bidders. Nice wheels!

Few were made and I have to believe that the 94 wide body gets a premium price because it looks like a 94 Turbo that can sell for around $75k. So the mind set would be that you can have a turbo looking Porsche for $20k less than the real thing. Who in the normal population would even know the difference. My $.02

I have one of these cars, but with a black interior - I like the looks better than a turbo as I'm not a fan of the big turbo wing, but the flared body is incredible! There were 250 of them shipped to US, although some went elsewhere, so the numbers are very low, thus the price high.
I believe you'd be looking at a $60-70,000 price tag for a nice 94 turbo - but you wouldn't get the 4wd

No air cooled Porsche motors had 4 valve heads. It won't work. That's why Porsche went to water cooled head on the race cars, and then to full water cooling on the 996s.

"No air cooled Porsche motors had 4 valve heads."
I think I have an article about a shop in Germany that was making 4 valve heads for air cooled 911s .

And it was a joke , the ad has it listed two times as a 24 vavle .
