Spring is in the air.... :-)
Clearly spring is coming, the weekend was time to get the 964 out of its winter hibernation, change the oil, wash and clean it and install some much needed goodies. After removing a broken heater servo, fixing the radio noise from fitting a H D iDrive.
It's now time to finally fit my RS America sway bars. A question from those that know, are they a straight switch with a '90 964 bars, front and rear? Or are there further parts I need?
I guess I will have to get bushings, anything else anyone knows I will need.
If you know the part #'s, thats even better.
I have tried a search but have not found the answer.
Thanks again, you are all a great help.

Mark,
You'll likely need new bar bushings as the sizes will be different. Also carefully assess the bushings on the drop-links. AFAIK, you can't buy just the Porsche drop-link bushings and the whole drop-link has to be replaced if the bushings are mashed.
Marc
p.s. doing the front sway on a C4 is a bugger - one of the front struts/shock assemblies has to come out and then you need a realignment.

Sway bar
Thanks Marc. One at a time I think. I'll order the links and new 21mm bushings and get it switched. The link to your Porsche on your signature is not working.
Cheers

The P-carOnline site had a hard-drive crash a few months ago and is running on a backup made before I setup my page.
I am told that once the guy who runs it returns from his tour of duty, it'll be back up running with a more recent backup that will include my page.

For me its autumn time......and we dont "winterize" our cars here, its just too mild.
In my city the coldest its going to get at night will be 4deg C during winter.....no snow and very rarely any ice. Day time temps will be approx 18deg C.
If i want snow i drive 4 hours south to the nearest ski field.

I changed the oil before it was stored. I go out every two weeks, fire it up, move it back and forth so the tyres won't settle and run the heater etc. So, changing the oil ready for the driving season I know its fresh. I'll do the same again come fall / winter.
