Default Belt up will ya.....

I certainly will with my new red belts which cost me 70 quid to get changed from black to red, a must for all projects is new coloured belts, and the range of colours is awesome!!

Call 020 8206 0101 - Quickfit Safety Belt Service Ltd

If you ask them to send you some samples of colours the samples will have codes so then send your belts to them, and within 10 days they are back to you, but don't send them and say I;'d like them red as there are 3 reds in their chart, so samples with codes clears it up nicely. Good friendly service when I called, and delivered next day before 12noon so you know when they are turning up. The whole belt is sent, and they strip, replace, test and then send back.

Cheap as chips I'd say!!

Inkboy,

Typical Jock......!! Anyhing ta save a few bob.......

I did this a couple of years ago when I changed mine from black to a blue similar to Porsches colour in the RS's. Luckily I live not too far away from Stamore where Quickfit do this.

BTW I was only teasing, I come from Kirkcaldy so I like to watch the pennies too!!

I'm in the middle of stripping most of the exterior for a repaint. Not much fun on a fifteen year old car with rusty nuts etc.

I like the alcantara interior you've done. I have mine in a similar style but in leather. Had Southbound do it few years ago. Got the Genuine Porsche Recaros from an RS too and love it.

Cheers,

Gary

Is it worth doing the rear belts as well?

I don't think they have ever been used in my car after 4 years of ownership.

Cheers Gary.....sound like a big refurb job mate, all the best!! I'm looking at a 3.2 Widebody for a refurb like that so send me some pics mate.... paul_ingram@hotmail.com

Jim, I've retrimmed mine without the belts recess's showing for now, and have taken out the rear seats but it's entirely upto you, I'd say do all 4 if ya plan to keep the rears visible, just for tidyness sake. It's only 27.50 + vat a belt so pretty cheap.
