widest tire size-rears
i have cup2 17X9 inch wheels on the rears.I was wondering, whats the widest tire size i can fit with out it rubbing.

Not exactly the same but for comparison's sake I run 18x9.5" with 265 MPS2's without issue on my 93..

I run 275/40/17's on 17x9.5 OEM Carrera Cup wheels, no rubbing issues.

to run the 275mm rear you need to have the fenders rolled, the oil line will also need to be flattened as well to clear the tire. the 265mm will fit normally w/o rubbing on the 9" cup wheel

Yes, just to reiterate that 265 is probably the limit. My 10 inch rears with 265's *just* fit.....

I run 275 x 17 on 17x9 w 52 mm offset with Hoosiers on a 91 C2 narrow with 18mm spacers -
