Default wheel style. give me some options please.

Ok still have not got my car back Apparenty no one makes 18inch cup 2 replicas anymore.

so what do I go for. turbo style cups? I'm partial to the GT3 rs MK1 wheel on a 964 I also like the Krone classic.

I do also remember seeing a 5 spoke wheel on someones car but cant for the life of me remember whos car it was or the make. Price needs to be £995 retail or less.

Anyone help me with advise and pics?

Cheers.

Mike has a pair for sale, but he's here in the US. Might get pricey to send across the pond.

They would have to be bought from a dealer unfortunately as they are being bought through insureance.

Thanks for the ideas guys.
Time was running out so I had to make a quick desision and I plumped for the RH GT3 replica's because Ive seen them on another 964 and liked them.

There are quite a few threads showcasing rims. I remember this one:

https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...&highlight=bbs

I think the colour/shade of the car makes a huge difference (cobalt blue is right in the middle): I like cup I & II's on the dark cars and I love the BBS LM's on the lighter ones (see the thread).

See also http://www.fvd.de/ for fourteen pages of wheels. Seems to include good fitment info too. No experience or affiliation, I just like to drool over their print catalog.

Hi Pesty!

Where did you get them from - price etc...and are they 3-piece wheels like the originals?

Not sure where the ninemeister will buy them from I assume they have their own prefered suppliers.

The ones I picked where from design911 and a a replica made by RH. I don't think they are 3 piece at that price 995+vat.

must admit I like the carrera alloys that are in the thread linked above but can't seem to track any down. the closest ive found are some made by forest in Italy.

they had to be 18 inch to use the old tyres as i dont think the insureance company will pay the extra.

I think I will be happy with the GT3 style but wont know for sure until i see the car with them on. Just want me car back it will have been off the road for 3 months by the time I get it back.

Ive had some serious bad luck with this car. good job I love it.

Quick Reply: wheel style. give me some options please.
