Default RS America for 15K?

Here's the link. Ebay

Doesn't look like an RS. The 993 steering wheel is suspicious as well.

No RS badge on side either. Nice looking car but very cheap! Maybe its a steal and maybe not. Dealer must know what a real RS is going for.

That is most definitely not an RS America. The VIN is not in right, there were no leather interiors, there is no fixed spoiler, etc. That's just a regular Carerra 2 being jazzed up with RS America marketing.

The dealer updated the add near the bottom. They went with RSA because CarFax said it was...

In any case, this would be a good deal if the PPI checks out. Fairly low miles and just a couple of owners. At least one was a PCA member judging by the sticker in the front windshield.

If only I had room for another....

Could they have sprayed any more ArmourAll on that interior? My gawd, you'd slide right out of that car.

They updated the ad after I informed them that this is not an RSA. They seem to be ok folks so no real harm done.

RSA never came in that color either. And it has leather and reguar door panels. Plus no fixed wing. Like everyone else said this is not a RS america. Marc, Actually according to Porsche abiout 70% of RSA's sold in America came with A/C as an option

IIRC, the 'RS' badges were not applied at Port or PDI. They were left inside the car and applied by most owners.

Two words to describe this car: UG-LY!!

I think it's funny, towards the top of the auction page, seller marked "Automatic" for Transmisson!

I see that they ammended the 1st pic to say "5-speed Manual".

Carfax reported my 93 was an RS also, just a screw up on Carfax reporting is all... and it's up to $17.2K with 4 days left.

Boy, it's cars like this that make for a tempting daily driver. Plus, it would be an unending source of parts should the wunderbred car break

That color looks like Wimbeldon Green to me.

It's a very cool color in person. Pics can be deceiving. Definitely a change from the typical black, white, Guard Red, etc. cars out there.
