That's my Wife's 2002 I'm restoring/resto-modding.
i've owned more BMWs than i have porsches. 17 or 18, if memory serves. had 3 2002s over the years. those and the e30, which i owned a bunch, are such great little cars.
hope your wife really enjoys the final product. would enjoy seeing it when complete.
Quite a few 964s and some very nice Pcars (including Gunther Speedster 001) at C&C this morning, but this one was my favorite. 130K+ miles and properly patina’d.
What a fun weekend. Drove the turbo, cup car, C2 and 981 Boxster GTSM. All great cars. Spent some time at Gasswerk's where Gaspare always has fun eye candy and Paterek's restoration. What different worlds.
I found this to be a fun picture.
Getting ready for a nice drive. Nice RS at Gaswerks Nice AIr-cooled engine project. It's all in the details.

Very rare thing to see especially here in the US. Would’ve been PTS I believe for a 964 RS. Probably less than a dozen or so Cobalt Blue 964 RS’. I remember Andreas Preuninger (head of Porsche GT cars) posted one on his Instagram.
Was cobalt a special order on the RS? I’ve looked at the brochure and it’s not listed unless they simply didn’t list it or it was added later.
Cobalt 37U was part of the standard Porsche palette for 1992 and 1993. It is possible they are listing colors from the 91 palette which I have seen done many times, only to have it changed later. My son just had that happen with his 23 Macan GTS. They dropped and added colors a week after he ordered it and had to pick from a different palette. In the US all models used the same palette so any could be ordered, however it was not a standard color but special order as were all metallics. Depending on the year or model I have seen special order colors at no charge but had to be ordered by a paying customer or could be as much as $3500 extra.
If my 94 was a few vin #s later and made in September it would be PTS and worth even more. LOL
