Some may have seen it over on IG but I'll post it here too, got new cushions made for the car, end of 80s Porsche Burgundy is a tough color to match/find. I think it's close enough and will get a leather treatment + some more patina soon so It will be even more closer to the original one.
I've thought about making an RS interior but somehow can't make the decision. It's too special like this even if it might not be everyone's taste.

Those seats replicas from CarBone or somewhere else ?
Thanks Jreifler! Those mods sound great, would love to see the result - matching little color accents here and there really makes them come alive.
The seats are original leather Recaro PPs but the seat cushions are from CarBone indeed. The process is not that easy if you want to match existing leather but they have made good progress all in all. Price is really nothing compared to others (quality is fine, don't expect too much but it's really good enough).
I'd have liked a momo style horn button in burgundy with the porsche crest embossed but they said they don't make "imitations" of porsche stuff, guess they ran into some trouble at some point and don't want to offer it anymore. I also tried to get a 964 RS style frunk carpet with stripes in the same colors as the seat inserts but they said they don't make copies of original Porsche parts, etc- I didn't insist. My guess is they have enough work atm and though they say they can make anything personalized, they don't really want to.

It's very high quality, and I imagine you could disassemble it and dye the leather to burgundy. Or at least try. It's cheap enough to toss if the process doesn't work out.
I was lucky enough to source a sheet of ORM Burgundy leather a few years ago. Your idea of the embossed button is interesting but I don’t find this setup bad. My interior guy and I really went back and forth about the stripe at 12 o’clock. Yellow seemed too much and red looked strange. I settled on burgundy…🙄
