im sure just changing the DM to € still wouldn't cover costs today...are the fenders total replacements? like no bondo and repainting, and it looks to be holding up well for 27 years on........or has it been done over since then, beautiful car in any case..just sitting here staring...looks chunky and mean and...fast.....

$40,000 DM is a lot back in 1990 and that does not include the cost of the original Porsche 964 C4.

Yes total steel fender replacements.

No work done since leaving the factory.

It does look fast but with the big changes in technology it is not fast ...... probably slower than today's Honda Civic.

In another post I compared my 964 to a 993 turbo and to me the Strosek treatment of the front fender with the subtle flair and of the rear fender with the big flair is somewhat similar to the 993.

Before the 993 guys jump all over me I am only comparing the lines of the my car to the 993 and nothing else.

Certainly the 993 is way more desirable and worth many many more $,$$$,$$$ than mine.

Had a great local photographer named Eric Banash shoot my car today. He edited one quickly for me.

looks great Jim. What exhaust/headers do you have on the car. Looks like you went dual outlet which is aftermarket.

Hey thanks. It's fabspeed headers and muffler. Some drone, but I haven't heard on yet that doesn't. The tone gets compliments all the time. Skip the heat option, as it doesn't cover 2 of the 6 primaries, and is therefore useless at generating any real heat.

Very nice car. I think my favorite colors in these cars are the blues, including diamond blue which I think might have been available only in '89 although I could be wrong about that.

BTW, I'm just south of you in Bedford, NH

I agree. Blues and greens are my favorite. This car fell in to my lap it was about 5 miles away from me. I wasn't even looking at the time nor did I really like the color at first glance but now I really dig how it changes from red-orange-copperish.
