It actually only has 22k miles, came out of an accident damaged golf r. Water pump was damaged in the accident and it jumped timing. Threw in 8 new valves and seals today and it's good as new.
That FSI is a nice engine, I am more used to the timing belt cars. I am excited to see all these 2.0L turbo German cars compete. Too bad the golf 400 is Not going into production. I had a 1.8T making over 400whp. It was pretty much bulletproof with forged parts except that 02J transmission. I drove a friends 2016 DSG golf r. What a fun car and super fast shifting!
