Ouch what happened?
I have been having some personal issues the rest of my time has been spent sourcing parts and doing whatever I can to get this project completed. Taping it off for primer this morning should have the primer done by today and possible paint by end of week but I am not holding my breath. I hope to get the thread going soon but once I do it will take up a lot of time I need to get the work done..
Although the project has morphed from a 3.8 to a twin turbo 3.6. I happened upon a fresh 993 varioram with massive intercooler and twin turbo setup. Came with racing clutch, 993 6 speed with short gears and guards 40/60 LSD with only 8 hours or so on it. Couldn't pass it up and cost me a lot less than a 3.8 build.
I am de-tuning the engine to 400-425 hp being high compression with low boost it should feel close to a 3.8 RS with more torque.
Here are some teaser shots for now. technically it still is a 964.

mine is also for driving guys , i drive it 20/25 k a year , i,am present on most of the big meets over here in europe 
it has over 340k on the milage and still looking like new

jetta i,ve got some 964 lowering springs in my garage , not extreme low just normal ones 3/4 cm lower
you can have them for free if you want to , you can pic them up or i will send them to you, sending costs are yours of course
