I'm wondering whats going on with the sideskirts - they look stock but somehow different, like they protrude a bit more? is it just me?[/QUOTE]

I checked a few of the photos on this thread and some cars side skirts show up in the same way, others, such as Johns don't.

Rey's blue car, they obvious for example.

Must be light and reflection.

Here are the specs for all of the mods including the wheels.

Sorry it is in German as the mods were done at the Strosek factory.
I know of someone who has the complete kit and i don't think he is asking that much for it. If your interested in it for spare parts I can always put you in touch.

They all seem to follow the flair or wing line could it have something to do with some cars have the bottoms painted black vs others that are body color.

Has anyone figured out why some came from the factory painted black and others body color yet?

As far as I know its just owners (such as myself) painting them at a later date

Although some owners do the factory actually painted them both ways. My C2 lower rockers in Amazon green came green from the factory my Cobalt turbo came black. Some colors like Amazon, Midnight blue, black and a few others always seem to have been color coordinated as where cobalt, guards red, white etc seem to all have been supplied in satin black. I usually inquire if the owner knows how his or her car came from the factory when I judge them at Concours events so far it has been more based on the color but inconsistent.

The same occurs with interiors some have color matched accents and others are black same color.

Trolling around the Internets, looking at pictures of women and found some 964 pics.

Is that Maritime blue? Now I really want an espresso...

Mr. Hobbs seems like a very lucky fellow! But here's a random snap of my beloved 964. Been sleeping since early December....

If you look closely you can see the A arm in the front shadows used on the older Torsion Bar cars. Along with parts like the rear lenses larger 930 vs 964 turbo wing and the angle of the calipers I would guess it is a 930 or modified 3.2 carrera

The big give away for me is how far back the front wheels are sitting.
