Quick pic while running some errands this morning.

Made up this contraption to reduce splash and the rubber "funnel" will conform to tight or irregular structures without damaging the frame paint (if that is of consideration). Quickly realized this thing would work for all my cars with dry sump reservoirs. As many of you know, there is less mess if the oil fill cap is off the engine prior to opening the reservoir.

Do you have some type of tray to catch the drain plug or do you fish it out of the oil bucket later?

At first, tried to hang on to the plug..... Too messy. Today, just let it drop into the funnel and fish it out later on.
