Probably should do the forklift next - it looks like it could do with a wash and wax

MrALex - that's amazing - is it paint corrected recently or is that some kind of PhotShop hocus-pocus?!

Well I don't have a garage, but a friend works in a sanitation depot and lets us come by and wash. Lots of stuff in there is real dirty. No garage washing experience for this guy

Well my paint was slightly corrected in June. This was just after a wash and applying the Sonax netshield, its a sealant but also delivers a good glossy finish. I planned to also cover it with Collinite 845 but ran out of time.

Looks great Alex! I use 845 on my LR3 it is a nice easy product that seems to hold up well.

Supposedly it also gives a nice shine being a liquid carnuba wax.

Here is a quick demo of how the Sonax works, not my car, but same result. Pretty awesome for wipe on-wipe off application.

My car is in the shop getting some paint work done, fixing a door ding and removing a small dent in the hood that's been there since I bought the car years ago. This morning I stopped by on my way to work and realized... I missed my chance at adding another R Gruppe/Lightweight touch. I could have gone badgeless OR even better, given a nod to the 911R with a Porsche Crest sticker. Maybe next time...

I went with the vintage sticker when I swapped out the steel hood for fiberglass. Here's how it looks on our Slate Gray (Steve McQueen's color - which makes it the fastest, of course)

Wish my paint looked like that...no matter how much polish and buffing, it won't come close after the years of track time.

Beautiful...

Damn Ken, that is a sweet 64, and not just because of the fast color!
I forgot you had a Slate Grey car... love all of your little details on car.

I was in the car today and found myself with an extra 30 minutes before I had to pick up the kids. So I decided to drive around a bit for fun. I couldn't believe what I saw at the next light. Definitely a rare sighting around here. We had a great conversation and now I have a 964 friend in town!

Thanks - I've gone lightweight with my C2 so I figured it was appropriate...
The sticker is available on ebay. Here's a link to the item:

Looking very nice. Tell us more about the induction system?

Loving the splitter and wheels - can we have a wide shot please?
