He does not think he has the infirior car but he now has fallen in love with the lines of the 964. He had one of the last 993 turbos made but never drove it. He sold it bc he got into the 997 everyday instead of the 993. I love the air cooled. I want to keep going down. Maybe a 76 or 77 911. He wants a 991 now. Here is another pic at a meeting this afternoon. He does love my passion for the cars. He has had it for a long time.

Whoa....
You'll miss the EFI simplicity.
You don't have to worry about blowing an intake box.
You will always want the options available for the suspension that are a pain to deal with on the earlier cars. 964's are pretty straight forward on suspension selection IMO.
Still relatively easy to find parts for 964's
Still classic body style, but with modern conveniences....
oh yeah, that reminds me why I want to backdate my CCU to the old style rod and cable system,
I hope you and your dad have a great weekend!

You have a '90? Did you have to do anything to the suspension to get it to fit or is there no issue for V1's and the early cars.
May I ask where you bought them from? And if you had any other suspension setup before, how does the ride compare to the V1's?

Mr.Alex, I bought my V1's from tire rack. Yes, it's a '90, there were no issues fitting them. I think KW makes a different model for the early cars.
I love them, the ride is firm, but not harsh at all. Keep in mind that your wheel/tire combo plays an important role. I just changed the 4 tires and the difference in ride comfort is very noticeable.

Did you have any other suspension setup before? Like Bilsteins and springs. Or was this your first aftermarket suspension.
