Looks like a 64 to me. I like the Bonneville attire in the pic. Supplemental video: youtube.com/watch?v=rdtfGGDoxCk

I love the wheels as well. I appreciate the idea as I may just have to copycat your car. It looks awesome with the black, I think would look good on my slate gray.... Then I can do the springs instead...muhuhahaha

I wasn't sure since most of the Bonneville cars are mutts anyway, and it's easy to convert an older car to the 64 look?
That would be a great upgrade, the smoother bumpers helping with a higher top speed.

A quick search revealed that it belongs to a former PCA Zone rep/pres.
He put a rear wing on later as he moved up in class.

Love the factory team inspired black headlight rings (goes well with the cage).

Wow Cosmos,

I love the style. The subtle mods to the wheels, headlight rings, and mirrors work really well with the factory trim, bumpettes, and black lower side sils. Nice touches.

I like the areo base with the Vitaloni mirrors. I know people like areo mirrors (and they do look great), but I love the size of these mirrors. Small and racy, as seen on so many factory racing Porsches in the 70's. Pre-ballon, Gov. cert. lawyer mirrors of today.

If you don't mind, I'd love to add these pics to my Flag mirrors gone - welcome Vitaloni Sebring Mach 1 Mirror thread? This is a great option to the look. Any close up pics., would love to see how the base looks.

Were you thinking about a duck?

Thanks, glad that's working for someone. One of my friends thinks it looks silly. I suppose objectively it might, but I rather like it because it reminds me of Cup cars and the C4 LTW.

Thanks! Yes feel free to add them to the Vitaloni Sebring thread. You were the one who brought my attention to them! I will also try and get some more pics of the mirrors for you. I actually did have a duck tail for a few months but watching the cup car races of the 90's made me realize that one of the key features for the 964 was the retractable wing. So I sold it and went back to stock.

here she was with the duck and side script.

It's a dreary, rainy day in North Carolina today... I need to see some gumball colored 964s to cheer myself up.

as always: nice pictures you find! As the winter still has a hold on us here in Germany i´m sure now to have my headlamp rings painted (black) just like on cosmos car (been thinking about this for quite some time ...

Hopefully will be posting pictures soon!
