^^^^^^^^
That picture has a bit of a 964 Rat Rod look to it...missing carpet, center console and door panel, exposed radio wires, no airbag. Rust!

More of that here:

Good news that's not rust. Sorry crappy monitor here!
Ok, now I remember seeing glue like that at my carpet edges by my seats.
It would have been strange in that location and that aggressive also.

Are you stripping everything to lose weight and go for an RS theme, or tracking it?

hopefully a little of both. purpose built is sort of what i'm after. getting it out on a track at least once being the ultimate goal. i'm currently designing the door panels which i plan to have done in c/f. painted flat black. a/c is coming out and a fabspeed exhaust w/ heat is on the horizon..

Ok then the Rat-Rod label is not kind in this case.
R Gruppe is what were looking at. 964 are perfect R Gruppe candidates.

Show us the door panels when you're done.

Here's a bad photoChop were I was testing the look of R tail lights, and a matte engine lid on my car. (plus a couple more R light pics.)

For us Texans, hay. We usually don't have to wrap it due to dry climate.
