Earlier in this thread is my previous 90 C2. Now here is my new to me 91 turbo with Christmas wheels. Still working on details to make it the perfect garage queen.
Steven, that's a damn nice car. I'm not usually a fan of guards, but that car looks tough as hell!!!
Wow, LPM911... that's some close racin', take it easy on your 964 brother! I took these pics at VIR this past October... unfortunately didn't see your silver bullet?

Racing 964 look so cool...
do you know the owner? i meant to swing over and introduce myself to him but never got the chance, and didn't see him around for the enduro the next day. he had a hell of drive during the second race.
are those pics from a NASA race down there or was that the PCA race? I had a wedding to attend (not mine) for the PCA race.
LPM,
I didn't meet the owner/driver but I did talk to the guy who prepped his car, it's the bald guy in the group shot above. Very nice guy, answered a couple rookie questions of mine and said 964s make awesome track cars... he said he was about to begin building another track 964 for a new owner...
It was a NASA event, but that being said, I had had a hard time figuring out what races were going on that day? The series needs to get a marketing person involved... very confusing as what was going on that day at the track. Not the race times... instead which cars at those times? That said, I'm really glad I went... the pit access you get is hard to beat!

i wonder if the bald guy works at intersport then. although the black 964 was for sale around here for a while, so it might have changed hands despite still having the same graphics. the most of the other clowns in the pictures are rennlisters, the guy with his back to us drive the white 964, the guy to his right drives the red boxster s, and the guy who you can barely see drives a bmw e36 in GTS3 and is also here on rennlist sometimes (i think).
nasa can be tricky, but you have to know what classes run in which group. the lowers GTS classes and 944 cup run in autobahn. and the higher GTS classes run in thunder. if you browse the nasa forums before the weekend, you should be able to find out who is running in what group.
