If I'm not mistaken, the "bald guy" (his name slips my mind at the moment) works for Timmy Tyrell (owner of the 964) at his shop...they are a NASA sponsor, and Timmy haunted us on the front line all season! ...that car is definitely setup.

The pic where he's close to the silver RSA is at a PCA race, Summit Point.

The best way to tell which cars are running at any event, be it NASA or PCA is to find out what series runs what cars, i.e. 944Cup, of course, is all 944, 944S, 944T, 944TS...Spec E30 is all E30 class BMWs, the GTS Challenge is a mixture of weight -vs.- hp German cars, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, Audi...with PCA it's all letter classes (A-K??) so it might be more difficult to figure out which cars run where because the rules are a bit crazy. THEN get a copy of the schedule, it always says which classes are practicing/qualifying/racing at what times and will list which series are in that slot.

It can be confusing, when I first came to NASA in 2002 I was a bit discombobulated. (SP??)

I like the pic where we're all standing there with the "bald guy" - I have my back to the camera (short gray hair) Eric Wong (Wonger) is directly in front of me, you can hardly see him, to the right is a guy (again, name slips my mind...we had all just met him as it was his 1st race w/NASA) who pilots a right fast Boxster S in GTS3 and one of the CMC competitors talking to the "bald guy" on the left. Great pic, we all try and BS prior to the race, it's "calming".

See you all out there in 2010!!

A picture of my very first 964...I was the 2nd owner back in 1994; car was a 1989 manual C4, and the locking diffs were very useful that winter - the barn was almost inaccessible at times...

Awesome Chuck! Pictures of a 964 turning laps in anger! You would be the one to ask if front strut braces work?! I love that color!

Glad you like the pics and color!

The strut brace has been there so long I don't remember what it was like before (it's been on the car for about 10 years). I seem to recall that it may have tightened up the front end a little.

Just remounted my newly painted wheels, center caps, and freshly painted front calipers.

941MXVET,
Black rims really change the look or a car, looks mean!
Is that matte or satin black?

It's a satin called simply "Trim Black". It's very availble, so getting a can for touch-ups was included from the body shop.

I really like it so far!
