I have followed this thread with interest. Besides all the small details that would personally drive me nuts. Did you purchase the car and are you satisfied. There always seem to be little surprises.

Just a quick update on the purchase.
The credit union has the money and now I wait for the cheque to clear so I can obtain clear title.
I'm looking for a place in SoCal to store the car till spring so I can drive it home.

Johniedee, welcome to "The Forum" . You'll learn a lot here. I recommend Mantis Racing Specialist in Oakville (no affliation) if you need serious work done or parts and accessories. Their prices are very competitive and they belong to the PCA, Upper Canada Region. You should also join,good bunch of people and lots of summer runs to enjoy. They also conduct DE track courses. Call Ernie at Mantis to join. Let me know if you need help. I would also recommend picking your car up at Buffalo and crossing at Fort Erie yourself. Good Luck
