Those are very reliable units. I've had mine for many years - the last three in continual service. If you shop around, they can be had for $36.95 plus shipping.

forget it's for a motorcycle site (old habits die hard), but here's a tender for 39.95 plus shipping. Make sure you click on the 12V, not the 6v.

You can go to AutoZone and buy one for under $30, but personally I would sleep better with the best known one out there plugged into my car rather than save $20.. but thats me.

I've had good luck the past couple of years with 2 Porsche battery maintainers (plug into cigarette lighter....about $55 from Suncoast Porsche).

My 968 came with this one:

I just take mine out during the winter months, storing it in the basement and putting the charger on it on the first of each month. During the non-winter months, I just make sure I drive it enough to keep the battery charged
