most people think they are looking at a pre 1990 911 when they see a 964 they just can't distinguish between the two.

Even with owning later Porsches, every time I see a 964 I think that is the best body Porsche ever made (I like the 993 a lot too) why did I sell mine. The other thing is the sound of the air cooled engine cannot be duplicated, and I don't find myself driving with the window down and radio off like I did in the 964. Ultimate Porsche? there are so many, but in my book at least one of the best.

Ferdinand Alexander Porsche rode to his 70th birthday bash (May '05) in a 964 - I guess he would agree.

My current ride is a 92 C2. I love it. The MGA was fun, but then you remember the night the voltage regulator failed on the way home from SF, or the day the rotor chewed up the distributor cap on the way to Lake Tahoe, or how cold it was in the car even with all windows installed, or the water leaking under the windhshield and whipping at your face in the rain, or the spot of oil everytime you stopped the car. It really is a sunny day car.
