Default Noise from ventilation fan

The ventilation fan on the passenger side (right) of my car is making a squeak. I saw a picture once of the fan compartment opened up and I looked at my car and it seems that the top is just held on with some clips. Am I correct? What are the steps required to get to the motor? I am hoping that it is just a leaf or in need of some oil, but it is driving me crazy! Thanks in advance...

I used needle-nose pliers and kept a bar magnet handy to catch the clips when/if I dropped them (there are 4 - 6 clips). Don't waste your time with WD-40, the squeak will return after a few months. There are much better lubricants (PB Blaster TCL -Track & Cable Lube, silicone lube, etc.)
