Thanks all, I have enjoyed sharing this project with you all and look forward to its completion. Hopefully I can meet some of you at the track, but in any case, I'll be sure to post some video.

I'd like to see if I can buy that model, but cannot read French, anybody have a clue?

I assembled the rear end tonight and there is nothing like a new pair of tail lights and center reflector.

There's a couple of dealers in NY. Island collectibles is one of the few with a web site. On this page you can find dealers throughout the US. ROW
Hawk, if I come across something I'll let you know but there have been a couple of threads in the past.

Thanks, I'll check some of the sources out.

I mounted the fiberglass bumpers with factory C2 Turbo brackets.

Awesome. It will be great seeing a 964 RSR out there racing. One of my all time favs. I saw one made out of a USA Cup about a year ago that actually had professional race history with Rohr back in the day. It had a new 3.8 with about 400 hp and I must admit it was very tempting and at a very good price, but in the end I decided to stick with my car.

Hey Geoffrey, Fantastic!! And looking at the long list of worshippers, you know we’re all with you and wish you good luck. I only wish I could see you and the 964(RSR) in action. Grand Prix White and Cobalt Blue, you can’t go wrong man, good luck and I look forward to following your races in the next best way, "thanks rennlist.com", keep us posted, Marc,.. (911/964)

2nd. message.

Me again ,
""Porsche 911 RSR 3.8 "Mobil 1" 1er 24H de Spa 1993 Reédition € 69,00""....
It’s a model car, glue it together, a few decals and because of demand they reintroduced the model,. Everybody wants one now !!!!! The cost of 69 Euros works out to about $75-80 less the shipping costs. If, I can help, let me know, all the best,.. Marc (911/964)

Wow, I was hoping they would have a preassembled die cast metal one, I'm not very good at putting models together... My wife bought me the Mobil GT1 for Christmas over 3 years ago and it is still sitting in a box. However, I'd still like to add this one to my collection.

The colors on the car are Ossiblau which is from a 68-69 911 and the white is Toyota Super White from 84-06 since it matched the white powercoat exactly.

More pictures with the lexan rear window attached and sealed to the chassis, and the quarter window flush mounted frames. Rear wing with carbon center, and rear suspension and brake rotor.

Geoffrey,
Simply stunning! What is the box at the top of the windscreen frame bolted to the cage?

Man, I love the look of those flush mounted rear windows! I second the question about the windscreen box.
